Results of the Asheville Citizen-Times Half Marathon – September 15, 2012 – Asheville, NC

It was a cool, foggy morning when we lined up just after dawn for the Citizen-Times Half Marathon. The fog protected us from the sunshine for most of the race but the resultant humidity was very high. I felt great for the first seven miles but then my legs tightened up during the second half. I’ve been nursing hamstring issues for a while and things are getting better but it’ll take a bit more time to get back to normal. I was happy to get under two hours (JUST under two hours at 1:59:51).
