Maggie Valley Moonlight Run 8k – August 25, 2012 – Maggie Valley Fairgrounds, NC

A classic evening race in Maggie Valley. The race starts at 8:30 PM at the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds and the registration is $30. Some information from the race organizers:

RACE DESCRIPTION

The rectangular course takes runners 1.2 miles up the valley to Ghost Town, then 2.4 miles in the opposite direction, before returning them 1.2 miles to the finish line back at the fairgrounds.

Special commemorative awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers for
Overall and Masters (40 & Over).

Age group awards will go to the first, second and third male and female in the following age groups: 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and 85 & Over. No double dipping!

Exit 27 – US 74 West
Exit 103 – Maggie Valley/Cherokee – US Hwy. 19
Stay on Hwy. 19 for approximately 7.2 miles
The Maggie Valley Fairgrounds will be on your right

From Sylva, North Carolina
US 74 East
Exit 102 – Hwy. 276
Left at bottom of ramp
2.5 miles to Dellwood Road/US Highway 19 – Turn Left
Stay on Hwy. 19 for approximately 6.0 miles
The Maggie Valley Fairgrounds will be on your right
