Brevard Firecracker 5k + 10k – July 4, 2012 – Brevard College – Brevard, NC

This is a popular race in the collection of regional races that occur on the 4th of July (firecracker races). This is the only one in the region that includes a 5k and a 10k race, so if you’d like a little distance on the 4th of July you might want to think about Brevard.

A very appealing aspect of this pair of races is that a discount is offered for those 18 & Under and 65 and Older. The standard race fee is $30 (for either the 5k or 10k) but participants who are between 6 & 18 or 65+ pay just $20.
