This race is part of the Asheville Track Club 2012 Grand Prix Series. It’s a nice off-road race on the campus of Warren Wilson College. I ran it in 2009 and it was very nice. From the race organizers:
The Warren Wilson College campus is consistently called one of the most beautiful in the country. The course begins in front of DeVries Athletic Center, crosses a spectacular pedestrian bridge and traverses the central campus on the way to the College Farm. After passing scenic pastures, a single track trail leads you to the organic garden. The final leg includes a beautiful pond, more single track and broad views of the Craggy mountain range before returning via the pedestrian bridge to a flat finish on the athletic fields. Although some of the run will take place on pavement, the majority will be on dirt or grass. The entire route is off public streets.
