Asheville Chamber Challenge 5k – June 1, 2012 – Asheville, NC

The Chamber Challenge 5k has become a huge event, with over 1,000 participants completing the race in 2011. Whether you’re with a team or on your own it’s a great Friday afternoon event on a challenging Montford course. And the past couple of years the temperatures have been in the 90s making it quite toasty. But if it’s hot, there’s usually one or more folks on Montford Avenue with a garden hose offering super-heated runners an opportunity to get cooled off.
