Mayland 15k + 5k Trail Races – April 21, 2012 – Spruce Pine, NC

A 15K (9.3 miles) race or a 5K (3.1 miles) trail race, starting at Mayland Community College in Spruce Pine, NC.

The 15K race starts at 11:00 a.m. This intoxicating trail winds through mountain laurel, challenging HILLS, Christmas tree farms, rhododendron, numerous switchbacks, singletracks, muddy spots, and rocky spots all while taking in amazing views of Grandfather, Mount Mitchell, and Roan Mountain.

The 5K race start time also starts at 11:00 a.m. It will be one of the most challenging, exciting, and fun 5Ks you will experience.
