Burnsville Fit Families 5k – May 19, 2012 – Burnsville, NC

This race is part of the 2012 Asheville Track Club Grand Prix Series.

Information from the race organizers:

Our Burnsville Fit Families 5K Run & Spring Stroll is now taking registrations. This race will be on a scenic certified 5K course. This race is certified by the USATF. (USATF certification code NC10001MS). Awards given to top overall male and female finishers, top overall masters male and female finishers and top finishers in each age group. This race is a fundraiser for the Grahams Children’s Health Services of Toe River and will also include a Health Expo and free children’s races.

Free kids race at 10:30 at the Town Square (all finishers receive a ribbon). Free health fair at Higgins Memorial United Methodist Church from 9:00 – 12:00 PM. T-shirt and packet pick up also at Higgins Memorial United Methodist Church (101 N. Main Street, Burnsville). Race day registration closes at 8:30. Bathrooms & parking available at Higgins Memorial United Methodist Church.
