Falafel 5k – April 29, 2012 – Asheville, NC
|This is a classic North Asheville race with a gradual uphill pull during the first half that pays back in the second half. And don’t forget your free falafel sandwich after the race – it’s delicious. The race is part of the 2012 Asheville Track Club Grand Prix series. With a late start on a Sunday morning (10 AM) you can double-dip this weekend, taking in a race on Saturday if you like.

All registered runners will receive a race gift, coupon for a Falafel sandwich at Celebration Israel (which begins at 11:00 am at Congregation Beth Israel on Murdock Street), and additional promotions from the race sponsors. Prizes will be awarded in all age groups. The course winds through gorgeous Norwood Park Neighborhood and is an Open course with Asheville Police and volunteers to keep you safe. The Falafel 5k is part of the Asheville Track Club Grand Prix series. Izzy’s coffee truck will be present on race day to ensure proper caffeination for all spectators.
