Conquer a Cove 5k – April 22, 2012 – Candler, NC

Conquer a Cove 5k is a Sunday afternoon race which benefits an important organization – the Hope Chest for Women:

The HOPE CHEST for WOMEN commits to providing limited financial assistance for Western North Carolina women diagnosed with breast or gynecologic cancer and who are experiencing economic difficulties due to treatment cost.

The Hope Chest acts as an information link to the American Cancer Society and other organizations to provide resources for women and their families.

The Hope Chest supports health and wellness education and cancer prevention programs. Programs are offered through presentations in schools, at health fairs, and by special arrangement.
