Asheville Turkey Trot 5k – November 24, 2011 – Carrier Park – a Jus Running Event

Come join me and about 1,400 other folks as we line up on the old race track at Carrier Park, run a lap and a half, then shoot out onto the mulched trail as we engage in the Thanksgiving classic Turkey Trot (this year it’s the “Earth Fare” Turkey Trot).

The course is a combination of pavement, mulch and dirt (mostly pavement). It’s flat and fairly fast, although it’s crowded on the trail portions, especially early in the race.
