Harvest Half Marathon – October 15, 2011 – Cherokee, NC

RACE CANCELLED – OCTOBER 4, 2011. From the Asheville Citizen-Times on October 4, 2011:

The inaugural Harvest Half Marathon and 5K races, scheduled for Oct. 15 at the Cherokee Fairgrounds, has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, said race director Greg Duff.

Duff said he hopes the event, sponsored by Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Resort, will make a return next fall.
