Kiwanis Weaverville Firecracker 5k – July 4, 2011 – Weaverville, NC

After two years at an alternate course the Weaverville Firecracker 5k is heading back to its roots in 2011.  The race will follow the course that many of us know and love passing through downtown Weaverville and adjacent residential neighborhoods.

From the race organizers:

The North Buncombe Kiwanis Club is excited to bring the Firecracker 5K Race back to downtown Weaverville for 2011! This will the same course as run previously. It begins at RBC Centura Bank on Weaverville Boulevard, turns right onto Main Street and continues through residential neighborhoods and parts of beautiful downtown Weaverville, concluding back at RBC Centura Bank.

The race starts at 8:00 AM.
