This was my first time racing the Mainstay Medley and I am glad that I did it! The race was well-managed thanks to Tanya and all of her expert volunteers! The Camp Greenwood grounds are beautifully wooded, providing a lovely backdrop for post race fun, including a very talented Bluegrass Band. I thoroughly enjoyed the music while munching on a PB&J made by some super sweet volunteers. My only advice is to award more runners. People ran some screamin’ good times, but only first place got solid awards. First place won Foot Rx gift cards, while second place got a magnet. Folks seemed a bit frustrated about that point.
