Run in 2011 5k – January 1, 2011 – Cullowhee NC

Three things I like about this New Year’s Day race:

1. It’s a 5k.
2. It starts at 11 AM.
3. It’s flat.

So you can stay up late, rise at a reasonable hour and start the new right right with a burst of speed (or not). Registration is available online at Active.com and more information is available at the race organizer’s website.
