Asheville Turkey Trot – November 25, 2010 – Carrier Park

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it’s time to do that Thanksgiving Morning classic here in Asheville – the Jus’ Running Turkey Trot. This one brings out everyone – the elite runners who will be pushing 15 minutes, the once a year 5k runners and plenty of festive walkers donning feathers and various holiday-themed garb.

The turnout will be huge – approaching 1,500 runners, perhaps. The course starts on the race track before we shoot out on the river side and hit the trail. It gets crowded so be ready for some fancy footwork if you’re going to do some passing along the way.
