A nice pair of races held in conjunction with the Brevard White Squirrel Festival held over Memorial Day Weekend in Downtown Brevard. The races start and finish at the Brevard Music Center at 8:00 AM on Saturday, May 29, 2010.

I did the 10k in 2008 and as I recall it was a rolling rural course that is somewhat comparable to the Black Mountain Greenway Challenge 10k course.

Directions to the Brevard Music Center …

The Brevard Music Center (BMC) is located on West Probart St. Upon entering Brevard on Highway 64 East or West, turn on West Main Street to Oaklawn Avenue and turn right. Go one block and turn left onto West Probart Street. Continue on West Probart to Music Camp Road and turn right. Upon entering BMC stay on road and pass the Main Auditorium where there is a huge parking area. There will be a Rotarian to guide you to the Check-in area at Straus Auditorium.
