PB & J 5k – Rugby Middle School – Hendersonville, NC – May 1, 2010

The Junior Woman’s Club of Hendersonville and Earth Fare are “sticking together” with our 1st Annual PB & J 5K and Fun Run to raise awareness about childhood obesity, promote healthy eating and an active lifestyle, and raise funds to benefit the Children’s Clothing Closet. The race will be held at Rugby Middle School on Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at 9 AM.
Rugby Middle School is at 3395 Haywood Road, Hendersonville, NC 28791.

I’m one of the race organizers — I’m excited to share that we received our 100th registration for the 5K this morning! And the registrations are still rolling in. We also have 56 registrants for the Fun Run. We will have an inflatable, free food from Earth Fare, and lots of other fun on race day. It’s going to be a great event!
That’s great news and the race is a great cause. Congratulations. I suspect you will at least double that by race day.
