Results of the 2010 Run for Paws 5k

A Sunday afternoon (March 28, 2010 at 1:30 PM) race at Fletcher Park. A great way to wrap up the month of March and it’s a worthy cause (Brother Wolf Animal Rescue). Hopefully the weather will be nice and there will be plenty of dogs there to cheer (woof) us on.

To reduce environmental impact, registration is available only at Active.com (race page link – www.tinyurl.com/y8rt3ur) through March 25th. There may be race day registration available, but the race is capped at 600 runners (that would be a crowded race at Fletcher Park).

Here’s the rundown …

When: Sunday March 28th, 2010
Where: Fletcher Park off Howard Gap Rd in Fletcher, NC
Time: 1 pm arrival; 1:30pm 5K start time; 1:45pm 1M walk start time.
What: 5k run for humans only, 1 mile walk for pets and their humans, and Pet Wellness Fair – free nail trims for dogs, face painting for kids, pets available to adopt, “Ask the Vet” table and much more!
Why: 100% of the proceeds go to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue to help support our
furry friends. We are their voice.
Cost: $25 for the walk/run (no refunds or substitutions – it’s for the dogs!)
Weather: Rain or shine
Note: Pets are welcome in the 1 mile walk, people only for the 5K
