Foot Rx Black Jack 5k – December 19, 2009 – Jackson Park – Hendersonville, North Carolina
This is the first in a series of fun cross country-style races organized by Aaron Saft from Foot Rx Asheville. The race starts at 8:00 AM at Jackson Park in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Registration starts at 7:30 and the cost of the race is just $5. Each runner gets one playing card at the start and a second at the aid station. Runners then have the option to take a “hit” at the finish line. Then it’s scored just like the card game – closest to 21 wins (gift certificate for merchandise at Foot Rx). Race was cancelled due to the snow storm.
We hope to kick off the Black Jack 5k series
on January 16th at Fletcher Park. Registration
