A Shoutout for TJ Thomasson – Nike Marathon Dennis Duffy | October 24, 2009 | General | 3 Comments A quick shoutout to Asheville regular runner (and occasional commenter here on this blog) TJ Thomasson who completed the Nike Marathon in San Francisco last weekend (October 18th). Congrats! 3 Comments Bob G. October 27, 2009 Reply Let me add my congrats to TJ as well!! Having done 12 marathons, I absolutely understand that “I want to stop” feeling, and yet you powered through, finished , and now have your benchmark for future marathons!! Way to go! duffyd October 26, 2009 Reply I’m sure it was an incredible feeling. I’ve heard that the last 6 miles feel as tough as the first 20. And I’d say that finishing is the key. Congrats again. TJ October 26, 2009 Reply Thanks! It was an incredible feeling to cross the finish line. It was harder than I thought and I wanted to stop around mile 22, but the hard work was well worth it. I had hoped for a better time, but I guess just finishing was the key. My time was 4:52:20. Leave a Reply to Bob G. Cancel reply This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
