Squeezing in a Quick 3-Miler in Washington, DC
|
Here in DC for a couple of days of business and I had to squeeze in a 3-miler this morning. But first I had to wait for a big thunderstorm to clear out. It was a nice run, past the White House and around the Washington Monument. Overcast skies but really high humidity. No wonder all the people in Starbucks steered clear of me when I went in directly after the run for my latte.

That sounds like a lovely route. I’d like to try it on a crisp, cool, clear morning in autumn. That wet-mitten humidity is yucky.
