Coon Dog Days 5k – Saluda, North Carolina – July 7, 2007

Saluda is a great little town and this is a good opportunity to check it out.  The Coon Dog Days 5k starts with a bit of a hill for I think about the first mile (I’ve done it twice before).  Last year I was just over 24 minutes — not too happy about that.  I wasn’t sure if that was because the course was tougher than I recalled or if it was because I had just come back a day or two before from a 10-day trip to Europe (fatigue?).

I’m shooting for 22:30 this year. Get out there early — parking is kind of tough at this race.
