Charlotte Thunder Road Marathon and Half Marathon December 9, 2006

Looks like a nice course starting in uptown Charlotte, cruising through south Charlotte for the first half (and that’s all I’m doing).  It hits Randolph Road, Providence, Queens and Queens and finishes at the Dowd YMCA (hey, wasn’t I just running another half marathon there a few weeks ago?).

There’s also a 5k.  There is no race day registration for this one so sign up ahead or the day before.  They have an expo for packet pickup and general day before the race festivities.
